Pocket Forest Planting Day
Community Event
Help them grow a tiny forest with a big impact. Join them for a community planting morning as they establish a 600 square metres Miyawaki pocket forest on the eastern boundary of the garden.
Using a fast-growing, biodiversity-focused planting method, this project will bring shade, habitat, and native beauty to the site in record time.
All welcome. No experience needed. Wear something warm, comfortable and that can get muddy.
Free lunch provided for volunteers.
Come get your hands dirty and be part of something that will grow for generations.
This project is thanks to Greenprint Projects, Australian Plants Society Warrnambool and District with funding from a Healthy Cities Landcare Grant, a partnership between Landcare Australia and Bupa.
